I have a question for people who believe that parts of scripture are metaphorical?

To whet your memory a whole lot better, why don't you try practising what you have read and make this world a better place to live in for everyone? To sit around reading the Bible for 3 - 4 hours per day and not put it into practise is a waste of time. You are perhaps what is called a "religious hobbyist" - no ?
