POLL: Saturday Night Live?

I always hear cynical comments about the show Saturday Night Live, saying that the cast and skits totally just went to hell over the course of a few years. Here's my question to those of you who watch SNL or have seen it before: is the show better now than it was years ago? If so, what has improved? If you think it got worse, explain. I'm thirteen, so I never really watched that much of the old episodes, but I have seen a few. In my opinion, it hasn't really changed so much regarding the content, so much as the cast. I definitely don't think it's bad now.
