If I put regular granulated sugar through a coffee grinder will I get powdered sugar for a frosting recipe?

I really wanna make cupcakes right now, and I'm reading the back of my Hershey's cocoa box, and there's a recipe for chocolate frosting that calls for powdered sugar. I don't have it right now, so would I get powdered sugar by running it through a coffee grinder, food processor, or even a blender?
