Is this just me...?

Is it a normal stage when you start hating Mozart and Beethoven and loving Prokofiev and Rachmaninoff? I have heard that when you get 'older' your love for Mozart and Beethoven flourishes again because you somewhat tend to fall in love with their simplicity (comparing). is this a natural trend?
