What's another word for 'suggest' and 'failure'?

Synonyms won't help on Word, and I have major writers block (it took me a whole hour to write just an introduction for my ignment!) So I am leaving my vocabulary in your capable hands - I need another word for 'suggest' as well as 'failure.' Thank you for your help!
