Should we all follow Al Gores example when it comes to reducing our carbon footprint?

The way he flies around in his personal jet, he is reducing his carbon footprint? Personally, I believe the human factor in global warming is hogwash. If global warming exists, which I doubt, it is a cyclical, NATURAL phenomenon. Besides, what happened to the global COOLING we were all supposed to die from back in the 70s?
