Why is the Pope getting entangled with CONDOMS?

Because he realises what the scourge of AIDS is doing to Africa. It's about time too. There is absolutely nothing in the Bible, or as far as I am aware the Koran, which says "Thou shalt not use condoms". How could there be? Condoms were not invented when the Bible was written. (By men, i might add). Whether you like it or not we are living in the 21st century, and if we are to survive, we must act accordingly. Religion is not synonymous with God. Religion is humankind's interpretation of what God thinks.
